Here at Mink studios we definitely have a soft spot for a winter wedding… There’s just something so romantic about it all.

This may be soppy but we believe the cold weather seems to bring out so much more warmth in peoples hearts 🙂

Today we are going to be looking at some of our favourite winter wedding hair and makeup trends:

  1. Gold Eyeshadow

Whether this is for the bridesmaids or the bride herself, we cant help but adore a gold shimmery eye during the festive season. This is particularly stunning when paired with a bronzed glowy base and a nude lip.

One of my favourite combinations is when the colour schemes of the wedding match the makeup looks, it just looks so sleek and put together. And for a winter wedding … what’s better than a gold theme?

  1. Red Lipstick

This timeless classic is even more wonderful when making an appearance at a winter wedding… My favourite way to style a red lip is by making the eyes very simplistic with a light shadow or a liner and focusing more on the base and lip.

Once again this look could be for the bride or her bridesmaids and both would look stunning!

  1. Red flowers

A brilliant way to embrace the festive season is to tie in red and green themes within the flower hair pieces. I personally adore this look with a bun up-do, I believe it creates a real bohemian look that is so lovable.
